Storage Viewer gathers backup events from both the NetBackup catalog and the NetBackup activity log. You specify the date range for the backup jobs that occurred during a given time period. To minimize the impact on performance, it is best to load backup events for each individual client. However, in many cases, this is not practical. Therefore, several methods are provided to accommodate various needs. Only successful jobs are retrieved from the NetBackup environment.
