Delete Clients
For Storage Viewer for Backup, if you purge clients, the table that tracks rejected clients automatically frees up the license slots so that other clients can be added. Use the host group management features to delete old clients. See the section on Setting Up and Managing Host Groups in the Hitachi Storage Viewer User’s Guide.
Note: Clients decommissioned in the native backup product, via removal from all active backup policies, consume a Storage Viewer license until after 48 hours from the last backup.
