At first glance, it may appear that Hitachi Storage Viewer capacity values differ from values shown by other reporting software.
• Hitachi Storage Viewer represents capacity values in MB/GB/TB based on: 210/220/230
• Some other software, such as IBM XIV Storage Systems software, reports capacity values in MB/GB/TB based on: 106/109/1012
• For example, a volume reported by IBM XIV Storage Systems with a size of 17 GB (17 * 220) will appear in Storage Viewer as: 16 GB (16 * 109)
