An aggregated array performance profile is maintained at Profile Central—the community pool hosted at APTARE, Inc. This profile takes into account unique configurations: array vendor, array model. RAID configuration, number of data and parity drives, drive size, drive type, and drive speed. In addition, the total MB transferred during a profile interval weights individual profiles with aggregated equivalents in the community profile. As more published profiles are aggregated, the MB transferred will have less impact on the weighting factor.
