Preparing for aptare.jar Updates

1. Determine your current version of Data Collector. See Determining the Data Collector Version.

2. Run upgrade.sh|bat to install the updates.

Linux:

# /opt/aptare/upgrade/upgrade.sh

Windows:

> C:\opt\aptare\upgrade\upgrade.bat

3. Apply the update automatically to the Data Collector using the reload.conf file and the Data Collector’s smartupdater.
