Delete a Method
Hitachi Storage Viewer ships with system methods that cannot be deleted. Only user-defined methods can be deleted. And, a method can be deleted only if it is not being used by a report template.
To delete a method, take the following steps:
1. In the Portal, select Tools > Templates > Method Designer.
The methods view panel lists existing methods.
2. Click on a method to select it.
3. Click the Delete button at the top of the methods view pane.
If the method is currently being used by a report template, a pop-up window will notify you and prevent you from deleting the method.
